Amanda O. Banks is a Licensed Professional Counselor in South Carolina and Texas whose passions include counseling female adolescents, young women, and women of all ages. She is originally from Dallas, Texas and received her Bachelors from Furman University and her Masters in Counseling from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary in Boston, specializing in Mental Health Counseling and Marriage and Family Therapy.

After receiving her Masters, Amanda worked as an Adolescent and Family Counselor at Park Cities Presbyterian Church in Dallas, Texas. She counseled families and adolescents dealing with eating disorders, relationship issues, adjustment issues, depression, anxiety, and divorce care recovery. She also served as a Youth Discipler and mentored high school and college age girls in the Dallas area.

Amanda received further training through graduate practicum at Daybreak Pregnancy Center in Boston, Certificate training from The Domar Center in Boston for Mind/Body Infertility Counseling, Pregnancy Loss and Women’s Issues. She has also received training from Postpartum Support International (PSI) for Perinatal Anxiety and Depression Counseling..

Amanda, her husband, and three sons live in Greenville, SC and worship at Grace Church Downtown. Amanda loves spending time with her family and friends, getting to know new people, traveling, playing outdoors with her boys, and trying new recipes.
