Amber has a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University and is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in South Carolina. Amber previously studied communications in Florida and religious studies in Chiang Mai, Thailand. Amber has over 15 years of experience in the helping profession, serving with a therapeutic wilderness camp, sexual assault response program, pregnancy care center, student counseling services, Christian counseling and private practice settings. She also enjoys leading workshops and speaking to church groups, businesses, and non-profit organizations.

Amber has experience helping clients with a variety of challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, history of abuse/neglect, relationship difficulties, parenting challenges, perinatal/postpartum anxiety or depression, identity development, Christian sexuality, spiritual questions, life transitions, grief and loss.

Amber utilizes a variety of approaches, including Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) and mindfulness techniques. Amber has special interest working with Third Culture Kids (TCKs), Highly Sensitive Persons (HSPs), and racial minorities.

Amber lives in Greenville, SC with her husband and two sons. She is a foodie and world traveler; lover of hot tea, herb gardens, Downton Abbey, and Marvel’s Endgame.
