Katie has her Bachelor of Arts from Clemson University and her Masters in Professional Counseling from Liberty University.  While in college, she gained experience in a private practice counseling setting by interning at Beth Riley Therapy.  Katie also worked at Shannon Forest Christian School for two years, counseling female middle school and high school students.  She worked as a therapist with City Center Counseling Ministries for three years before joining with Greenville Counseling Associates in 2016.

Katie's passions include working with adolescent females, young females, and adult females.  She is especially passionate in the areas of anxiety, depression, body image, relationship issues, grief, and adolescent adjustment challenges.  As a counselor, Katie seeks to provide a welcoming and encouraging environment where individuals can feel supported and safe while walking through life's challenges.

Katie has worked in a variety of settings, including youth ministry and a law office.  She interned at Radius Church Lexington where she had the opportunity to lead bible studies, mentor young girls, and attend various educational workshops. 

Katie and her husband live in Greenville, SC and have two little girls.  She loves spending time with family and friends, hiking, cooking, and reading.  Some of her favorite things include French press coffee, sunshine, podcasts, and cozy blankets.
