Ashley has a Masters in Counseling from Clemson University and has been a practicing counselor since 2002. Ashley is Nationally Board Certified (NBCC) and a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) for the State of South Carolina. Ashley is also an EMDRIA approved EMDR therapist.
Ashley has counseled in a variety of clinical settings, including multiple inpatient hospitalization and intensive outpatient settings where she led groups, counseled individuals, and led family therapy sessions. Ashley has been counseling in private practice since 2003 and was previously with Hampton Heights Community Counseling Center until joining Greenville Counseling Associates in 2013.
Ashley equips individuals with a diversity of tools to match the complexity of each situation and empowers clients to find their own unique style and way forward.
Ashley has worked in a variety of ministry settings including youth ministry, Young Life, overseas missions, and teaching public school with middle school and high school students.
Ashley has led marriage workshops and family support seminars in a variety of churches and clinical settings.
As a counselor, Ashley seeks to holistically integrate healthy psychological models with a foundation of biblical truth. Ashley is passionate about providing a safe and nurturing environment where individuals can feel encouraged and thoroughly supported in navigating the challenges of life.
Ashley, her husband, and three children live in the Greenville area.

While Ashley frequently supports clients in these areas, she has experience working with a wide variety of life experiences and challenges. Her clinical approach commonly incorporates expressive arts (options for when words are difficult), in-person EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), EMDR-based journaling, strategic story work, relational, emotional, somatic, & spiritual skill building, and modeling secure attachment skillsandemotional regulation in-person.
