Kari graduated from Liberty University in 2009 with a M.A. in Professional Counseling and is a Licensed Professional Counselor in South Carolina. Kari and her husband have three adult children and four grandchildren. She enjoys exploring new restaurants, traveling, worship with our local church, and hosting family and friends.
Kari’s experience includes inpatient and outpatient therapy, family counseling, crisis stabilization, addiction counseling, and group psychoeducation. Kari also worked with a non profit organization researching and implementing best practices for interventions to women and families in crisis.
Because we are relational beings at our core, Kari believes counseling can be a useful tool in our journey toward wellness, stability, and joy.

While Kari frequently supports clients in these areas, she has experience working with a wide variety of life experiences and challenges. Her clinical approach commonly incorporates Integrative therapy - variety of modalities and techniques to address each person’s unique needs. Kari has completed Level 2 Training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy and uses this method in her work with couples.
