Kathryn is a Licensed Professional Counselor in South Carolina. She earned a Master of Arts in Community Counseling from Denver Seminary in 2011 and has since gained diverse experience across various settings. Her work has included counseling individuals, families, and couples in private practice, working with student-athletes at Clemson University, facilitating horticulture therapy groups for women with eating disorders, and providing equine therapy.
Kathryn believes that true, lasting growth happens when we address the whole person. Her approach is highly collaborative and forward-focused, blending a warm coaching style with evidence-based clinical tools:
EMDR (EMDRIA-trained): A powerful tool for processing trauma and painful memories that keep you stuck in the past.
Clinical Modalities: Integrating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Interpersonal Neurobiology to help rewire old patterns.
Self-Awareness: Using the Enneagram to help you understand your unique wiring and growth paths.
While Kathryn works with women from all walks of life, she specializes in helping those who desire to integrate their Christian faith into the counseling process. She believes that aligning our daily lives with our identity in Christ and the restorative power of the Gospel is the foundation for true transformation.
